Pre-conference visits

We are suggesting here several activities in or around Caen.

If interested, please make sure that you tick the corresponding options as you register for the conference. 

The cost of the activity will then be automatically added to your registration fee.

Pre-conference visits will take place in Caen, on Thursday 6 July, between 1 and 3pm.

According to the number of delegates interested, we will suggest one of the following visits:

• • Guided tour of the historical center and Abbaye-aux-Dames (abbatial church and gardens). In English.

• • Guided tour of Caen Castle and historical center. In English.

• • Guided tour of the Abbaye-aux-Hommes (Cloister, monks' refectory, Abbey Church of Saint-Étienne and tombstone of William the Conqueror. In English. Availability and capacity permitting, this visit may also include a free visit of the exhibition "Robert Doisneau, la traversée d'un siècle".
